The King of Kids Meals
For many mothers, providing healthy and good-tasting meals for their kids is a big priority, and with the day filled with school, career, and activities, it’s often difficult to make time to provide quality meals -- and carve out time for family bonding.
Burger King, the well-known national restaurant chain, recently revamped their entire kid’s meal with the launch of the BK CROWN™ Program which offers smart meal choices for kids such as fresh apple slices and fat free milk. The kids’ colorful meal box comes with a detachable crown that kids can tear off and put on, a toy, and is packed with lots of fun games and interesting activities that stimulate your child’s reasoning, creativity, and imagination.
Did you know that the BK CROWN™ Program also allows kids to help choose how Burger King gives back? BK has partnered with organizations supporting Wildlife, the Environment and Education. As kids and parents enjoy the activities on the box, they can talk about which charity they want Burger King to support, and discuss the various causes.
Kids can feel empowered when they vote online at BKCrown.com for their favorite charity using the code provided on their BK CROWN™ box. It’s a great opportunity for parents to engage their kids in conversation about social issues and what it means to give back to others and the global community.
So plan on heading out for a meal at Burger King where you can:
• Feel good about feeding your child a smart and tasty meal that gives your child choice of what they want to eat.
• Provide fun activities that encourage your child to think outside the lines and imagine stories or invent new languages.
• Spend quality time with your child and family, promoting social interaction and sharing.
• Empower your child with the ability to make a decision and learn about giving back to charity.
The BK CROWN™ Program is all about combining family, community, fun and great food by encouraging families to take the time to sit down, enjoy a meal and spend some time together. Tune in on May 30th at 7:30 am (ET/PT) as Patty Trevino from Burger King talks about the new kids meal program at Burger King aimed at feeding the heart, mind and body of kids.
