This month Designing Spaces has teamed up with respected companies from around the country to lend a helping hand to the families of those who have served. These are families just like many found across the nation that are facing tough times. But with families like the Stephens, there is a loved one who has made the commitment to defend the United States of America. Kevin joined the U.S. Navy in 2003. He is currently a Petty Officer 2nd Class. He has served on the U.S.S. George Washington CVN 73 and the U.S.S. Leyte Gulf CG 55. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as well as participating the African Partnership 2008-2009. Kevin serves as an Interior Communications specialist (IC) -- and is currently on recruiting orders in West Palm Beach, FL.

The Stephens family was selected for the Designing Spaces Military Makeover with the help of Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization that provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors.
