Our friends at Ford Motor Company are all about mobility. That’s why they’re here to show our veterans convenient ways to move from one place to another.
To help the Oscar Mike Foundation keep veterans on the move, Ford Motor Company donates an F-250 Super Duty, along with a check for $25,000. Ford also works to make the compound more accessible to disabled veterans, using various transportation methods, ramps, and more.
Since 1974, Ford Motor Company and the Ford Motor Company Fund have provided more than $6 million to veterans organizations. They understand that people with disabilities have special requirements for driving or riding in vehicles, such as adaptive equipment or modifications.
To help with the additional cost, Ford provides a reimbursement of up to $1,000 for the exact cost of the vehicle modification and adaptive equipment. This reimbursement is available on all eligible Ford and Lincoln vehicles. Ford’s Mobility Motoring website also provides a wealth of information to help guide customers through the purchasing, financing, and modification process.
